Nebojša Slijepčević was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia. In 2005, he graduated in Film Directing from the Academy of Drama Art in Zagreb. He directed numerous TV documentaries and series («Direkt», «Staying Alive», «City Folk»), but also creative and author-driven documentaries («Real Man’s Film», «In 4 Years», «Of Cows and People») for which he received awards at various festivals (EDN talent grant and Human Rights Award at Sarajevo Film Festival, best director at Verona Film Festival,
Audience Award at Zagreb Dox…). Nebojša is also the author of a short animated film «Dog / Rabbit» and a short fiction «Slap in the Face», which is a part of the fiction omnibus «Zagreb Stories».
