Association Liburnia Film Festival (LFF) was established in August 2014 with the main objective to promote Croatian film, video and media art and culture, and to encourage their creation and development. Association LFF is, among other things, established with the aim of gradually taking over the organization of Liburnia Film Festival by the former organizer of the festival - the Association Delta from Rijeka. Association LFF will perform as a successor of the Association  Delta, in the organization of program activities of Liburnia Film Festival as well as for negotiating with partner organizations and taking over the already active organizing team of the Festival (which also consists of members of the Coordination Committee of the newly established Association LFF). The establishment of the new association is largely driven by the efforts to provide the best possible platform for an innovative and critically engaged approach to film, beyond its usual and expected paradigm.
