Rajko Petrović graduated Film and TV Directing at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. He also finished Atelier Varan Paris School for documentary films, founded by Jean Rouch. Petrović was one of the founders of Atelier Varan in Belgrade - Centre for the documentary cinema, in which he worked as a director and producer.
His documentaries "Pulses" and "East of Eden" were shown at the most prestigious festivals in Serbia and abroad. Since 2009 he is Program director of Free Zone film festival in Belgrade. From 2011 he is a lecturer of MA program in Film, video and new media at Faculty for Media and communications, University Singidunum Belgrade. He worked on number of different projects which are related to documentary films, educational programs and to the production of commercials and marketing campaigns as well.
