Author's analysis of documentary film is envisaged as a sort of discussion circle with filmmakers and audience on the qualities and faults of particular films in order to ‘package’ this or any future film by this filmmaker more efficiently for international promotion. The workshop/analysis was meant quite informally, but with the intention of sharing our experience from the workshops and the Documentary Film School in the past ten years. We analyse films together, followed by a moderated discussion, individual work and, if there are future projects in mind, discussions about them.

About the leader

Nebojša Slijepčević  was born in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated in Film Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art, also in Zagreb. He is the author of several award-winning short films („Real Man’s Film“, „In 4 Years“, „Of Cows and People“) and the documentry series „Direkt“. His first feature documentary „Gangter of Love“ (2013.) was screened at over 30 festivals in 21 country, and has won nine awards.
