Veja is a Pazin-based folk/ethno/world music band which successfully toys with Istrian traditional music and performs it in new, modern arrangements, using instruments from all over the world. So far they have had many performances across Europe and the material for their debut Dolina mlinova is a result of their appearances at ethno festivals.

Frequent changes of dynamics and tempo, building a mystical, even ominous atmosphere in their songs are the central quality. In addition to traditional Istrian songs and local folk legends which served as inspiration for their songs, there is a noticeable influence of the folk rock of the 1960s, Italian cheerful songs, even sevdah music. Veja consists of: Goran Farkaš (vocal, mih, violin, bagpipes, kaval), Saša Farkaš (guitar, percussions), Marko Pernić (vocal, accordion), Sebastijan Demark (bass guitar), Ljuban Rajić (cajon) and Marijan Jelenić (sound designer).
