Liburnia sails is a tour of winning films from the previous edition of the Croatian documentary film festival Liburnia Film Festival. The program was launched in 2014 with the intention of bringing the best Croatian documentaries to cities and towns that do not have a cinema or the opportunity to see what is happening with domestic documentary production, and for the purpose of additional promotion of Croatian documentary, its authors, and creating a positive atmosphere around documentary film production in Croatia.
Liburnia has “sailed” to Šibenik, Silba, Mali Lošinj, Mošćenice, several locations in Rijeka, Opatija, Lovran, Ika, Ičići, Mošćenička Draga, Pula, Rab, Lopar, Gospić, Poreč, Labin, Cres, Rovinj, Kastav, Unije, Kostrena, Gomirje, Krk, Vodnjan, as well as Zagreb’s Dokukino KIC, MM Center and the Green River festival.
