Željka Suková
Željka Suková studied Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and New Media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. «Marija’s Own» (2011) was her docu-fiction-feature film debut. Its world premiere was at HotDocs, Toronto and the European premiere at Karlovy Vary IFF where it was awarded the Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean Award. «Marija’s Own» was screened at over 20 festivals, including MOMA’s Documentary Fortnight Gala closing night.
Gustavo Beck
Gustavo Beck (Brazil) studied Film in Rio de Janeiro and specialized in Filmmaking at the School of San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba. He took Executive Production and Philosophy post-graduate courses. He both directed and produced the shorts «Hera» (2005) and «Ismar» (2007) and got his feature debut with «Sandro's Home» (2009) and latest the documentary «Chantal Akerman, from here» (2010). The three films were all screened at FID Marseille, Viennale, Bafici and a large number of other national and international festivals where they were in competition as well. Right now, Gustavo is in the project development phase of his next film, «The Animals».
