ABOUT THE MOVIE

Wandering through the city, breaking through the light and fragmented thoughts in a kaleidoscope of movement and loss. Through tram rides, the sounds of cafes, and conversations from benches, the author takes us on an intimate journey through the motion of the night and a collage of lost words.

Jelena Kovačev

Jelena Kovačev graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2020, majoring in sculpture. During her studies, she worked on two set design projects that were awarded the Rector's Award: for the Opera Agrippina (2016) and the children's opera Brundibar (2017). She continues to work on set design projects within the Boom! Theatre association on theatrical projects, the children's play Reach for the Stars, Mind Games, and others. Additionally, she is involved in educational work, designing and conducting bookbinding workshops as part of the Uvezionice project. She participated in the research project 'Coded Spaces' (2022) and the Artaud Artaud project in collaboration with Hotel Bulić Theatre in 2021 and 2022, exhibiting in a show that opened in Belgrade and Sisak. She has had two solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions throughout her artistic career. The film 'Blinding Nights' is her final project within the New School of Documentary Film, which she attended in 2023
