The film explores Pula's alternative scene, past and present, through the stories of the people who created it and the locations that shaped it, comparing a time when numerous clubs were the center of young people's lives with today's increasingly quiet Pula, where those spaces have disappeared, and new generations are left without a place for alternative expression. The film explores the reasons behind this disappearance, from changes in musical tastes to different going-out habits.
Marta Vede
She is a final-year student at a language-oriented secondary school in Pula, with a strong interest in the arts, languages, and film. She has been passionate about filmmaking since primary school and sees it as her primary means of expressing her thoughts, ideas, and emotions. She is a member of her school's elective film group and has worked on several short films in collaboration with friends. She also directed a documentary that attracted a record audience at a local cinema, resonating strongly with viewers and fostering a deep emotional connection with its subject—an outcome that reflected her creative intention. Outside filmmaking, she plays tennis, volunteers, and enjoys travelling. She is creative, persistent, and eager to learn and grow.
