ABOUT THE MOVIE
"Terasa" je film koji govori o bijegu od gradske žurbe i gužve u rehabilitacijsko okruženje koje pruža vikendica izvan grada. Promatrajući život iz hladovine terase na kojoj autori provode svoj ljetni godišnji odmor, pratimo naizgled beznačajne događaje, sigurne od bilo kakvih skandala i iznenađenja, poštujući tek jedno pravilo: nekoliko kvadrata prostora omeđenog ogradom terase točka je s koje se snima.
Vedran Šamanović
Vedran Šamanović (1968 – 2009) graduated in Cinematography at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. Throughout his tragically short but fruitful career, he directed and filmed numerous experimental, fiction and documentary films and received many awards for his work. He also worked as a director of photography on multiple feature films. From 2007, he worked at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Šamanović was also the founder and director of Zagreb’s One Take Film Festival.
Sanja Šamanović
Sanja Šamanović (Požega, Croatia, 1970) is a director and producer. She received her PhD at Faculty of Geodesy where nowadays she lectures photography. During the 1990's she was publishing in several Croatian weekly magazines. Since 1996 she is a member of Kinoklub Zagreb where she directed her first films. Worked on the production of music videos, experimental and documentary films (Graduates and dancers, Occupation, 27. picture, Enlightenment). Together with Vedran Šamanović she directed a documentary – experimental movies Terrace and The way out. Since 2011 she is a director of the One Take Film Festival.
