A film that doesn't close its eyes to reality and the possible dystopian future, but also leaves a glimmer of hope in the future of humanity. Through intellect, curiosity, hunger for more humans have reshaped the Earth. We were reaching for the stars while plumbing the depths of our own minds. Progress is imminent but our innovations often come at a cost—straining ecosystems, altering climates, and testing the resilience of our collective spirit. Our hunger for more wealth , more resources, more comfort, have caused wars and destruction for ourselves and for the nature. Humankind's legacy is a testament to the duality of creation and consequence, do we strive to find harmony and respect and a better future for ourselves and the world we live in, or are we only destroyers? Is war a necessity? What are we leaving behind?
Danilo – Lola Ilić
Danilo Lola Ilić is a film director, editor and screenwriter. Born in 1977 in Vranje (R.Serbia), he finished primary school in Fažana and high school in Pula. He graduated from the Department of Film and TV Editing at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade in 2002 in the class of Professor Andrija Zafranović. In 2007 he completed his master's degree, MFA - Film Directing, at the Ohio University School of Film, USA. He mainly works on auteur documentaries. He lives in Pula. His films have participated in over 40 domestic and foreign film festivals.
