ABOUT THE MOVIE
There are eight underaged girls living together in the last house of a small village in Slavonia, trying to change their lives around with some help from the caretakers. The girls are growing up together, they take care of the household and manage the estate. Every week they get a visit from a professional drummer Branko Trajkov Trak who teaches them the art of drumming. But a newcomer, 14 years old Ivana, refuses to play drums. Why?
Nebojša Slijepčević
Nebojša Slijepčević is a film director based in Zagreb, Croatia. He has directed numerous documentaries and short fiction films. His short fiction film "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent" won the Palme d’Or for Best Short Film at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, European Film Award and Cesar for Best Short film, and it was nominated for Oscar. His most acclaimed documentary "Srbenka" has won over 20 festival awards and was shortlisted for the European Film Awards. Nebojša also works as a creative producer for documentary films at Zagreb Film production company.
