Maja Ležaja
Maja Ležaja, originally from Zadar, now resides in Rijeka, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Cultural Studies. She currently works as a cinema operator at Art Kino in Rijeka. In her free time, she enjoys photography, filming, watching movies, and engaging in good conversation with friends—especially at Dnevni Boravak, a café that inspired her first documentary film. Maja describes herself as someone who thrives on good times with her closest friends and maintains a cheerful and optimistic outlook on life. Consequently, when selecting topics to film, she gravitates towards lively and comical situations. Her film “Sunday Tales” is her final project for the New School of Documentary Film, which she attended in 2023.
