ABOUT THE MOVIE

The director found the film's starting point in media articles that elevate Istria as an Arcadia of superlative happiness. Yet while filming across the peninsula, he encountered a completely different image, one his film speaks of subjectively - questioning the intentions of Those Responsible, but also the small man's short-term opportunism, as Istria's centuries-old character disappears under illegal construction, corruption, and suspect capital. He wonders: in which Istria, and whose?
