ABOUT THE MOVIE
Slovenian hunting tradition consists of a series of hunting habits, rules and rituals which are not only an elementary part of hunting culture but play an important part in preserving Slovenian national identity. Through stories and explanations of hunters, the film gives insight into life and customs as well as numerous, still dominating men's communities in Slovenia.
Maja Alibegović
Maja Alibegović is a director, photographer, and curator living between Ljubljana and Zagreb. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and completed her master’s degree in Film and Television Directing – Documentary Film, at the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb, in 2021. She is the author of several short documentary films that have been screened at festivals across the region.
