My Universe follows a complicated relationship between a Russian immigrant mother and her feminist street artist daughter.
Nastja is a 32 years old Croatian artist, who is known for her flower-shaped vagina murals on the streets of Zagreb. Her mother Galja works as a tourist guide for Russian speaking groups and does not approve of her daughter’s lifestyle.
But the two have more in common than they would like to admit to themselves.
